Yes! Payments are processed exclusively on a mobile device for our Payments program. For Payments Plus, you can process on your phone, through a tablet or laptop, or by payment terminal.

All transactions are settled and paid out Next Day. If you settle by 7:30pm Eastern, you’ll see deposits first thing in the morning the next business day. Settle by midnight and see them by the end of the business day.

Both Payments and Payments Plus are $25 per month. If you’re also enrolled in the Surcharging rate program, that fee is waived. All account support and compliance is included in that $25 fee.

Standard pricing, also known in industry jargon as interchange cost plus, offers a low rate that covers the base cost passed back to the card brands (VISA/Mastercard/Discover/American Express) with the small predictable “bump” covering the cost of relaying all your payment data back and forth and getting you paid. While this pricing structure can be intimidating, it’s the absolute cheapest pricing program available in the industry and outpaces tiered rates and flat rates by an incredible amount.

Share Pay is a split pricing program where you pass along the majority of the cost of processing to your clients, and then you cover the rest. There’s a lot of hoops to jump through to keep you compliant and off the card brand black list, but we have all that covered. Debit cards cannot be surcharged, and certain states have different maximum surcharging amounts or ban it altogether. Surcharging is a great way to offset processing fees while giving clients another way to pay, and HIP makes sure you’re doing it the right way.

Scheduling is available on Payments Plus, but by no means is required to process deposits or other layaway fees. We know your calendar is as personal as your art, so while it’s an attractive feature for some, we’ve built options around what works best for you.

Yes, there is a merchant processing agreement that you sign that includes all the rules of the road for what is allowed on your account, but we waive any early termination fees. You can cancel at any time without penalty.
